Bed Bugs

Bed Bugs, it’s the stuff we heard when we were little, tucked into bed with “Goodnight, don’t let the bed bugs bite.” But unfortunately, it’s real and not very cute. Bed bugs feed on blood, cause itchy bites and irritation. While bed bugs are considered a public health pest, they are not known to transmit or spread disease.

Some say that you can’t see a bed bug, but this is untrue. You will be able to see the adult bed bugs, the nymphs and eggs. They are indeed small, but are visible to the naked eye. It’s important to understand that bed bugs are attracted to warmth, blood and carbon dioxide. Your home does not have to be dark, dirty or cluttered to attract bed bugs.
